Exploring Rooftop Gardens: A Unique Adventure for a City Dog

As a Black Russian Terrier, I have always had a friendly and outgoing personality. Recently, my pawrents and I have been considering the idea of me becoming a therapy dog. After researching the process and learning about the benefits of therapy dogs, we decided it was something we wanted to pursue.
Becoming a therapy dog is no easy feat. It requires a lot of training, patience, and socialization. First, I will need to pass the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen test, which evaluates my manners and basic obedience skills. Next, I will need to complete specific therapy dog training, which includes learning how to behave in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and schools.
But the benefits of therapy dogs are worth it. As a therapy dog, I will be able to provide comfort and companionship to those who need it most. Studies have shown that therapy dogs can reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, and even lower blood pressure. Therapy dogs can also help children with reading difficulties by providing a non-judgmental listener and can help in veterans with PTSD.
I'm excited to start my journey to becoming a therapy dog and can't wait to make a positive impact on people's lives. I will keep my followers updated on my progress, and I hope that my story will inspire other dogs to consider becoming therapy dogs as well.
Wags and Woofs,
Boris
